Though zombies far outnumber the surviving human characters on The Walking Dead, they are the inferior force when it comes to speed and mental clarity. But what if speed was no longer a problem for the living impaired?
The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus made a guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night for a comedy sketch that pit his fan-favorite character, Daryl Dixon against a group of hoverboard zombies. (Although, technically, âself-balancing electric scooterâ is a probably a more accurate description for the devices used.)
Darylâs reaction to these âmodernized zombiesâ was particularly hilarious before he started taking them out to the tune of Chamillionaireâs âRidin’ Dirty.â And when the zombie horde became too much for Daryl, he used the famous Dalek defense: stairs! Of course, Daryl also had a more explosive solution that made zombie Guillermo Rodriguez rethink his plan of attack.
But what could be scarier than walkers on wheels? Reedus had an answer for that as well when he recounted the infamous incident last year in which a Walking Dead fan actually bit Reedus while he was posing with her during a âphoto opâ at a convention. And yet somehow, Reedusâ onscreen brother Michael Rooker escaped with his flesh intact!
Despite the bizarre situation, Reedus declined to press charges against the woman who bit him. But the picture that she took with Reedus and Rooker does appear in this video.
