Norman Reedus Is as Badass as Ever in Exclusive TRIPLE 9 Character Poster

From John Hillcoat, director of cult western The Proposition and the post-apocalyptic downer The Road, comes the heist movie Triple 9. Part of the movie’s appeal is its amazing cast, at the center of which is Norman Reedus. In what you might call typecasting (albeit of the awesome variety), Reedus plays the intense brother of an even more intense criminal, played by Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul. Below, we’re debuting a poster for the film, showcasing Reedus in his badass glory.

Our beloved Daryl Dixon and Jesse Pinkman are only two pieces of the amazing cast, which also includes Wonder Woman‘s Gal Gadot, Serenity‘s Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anthony “Falcon” Mackie, Casey Affleck, Clifton Collins Jr., Woody Harrelson, and Kate Winslet. Check out the trailer on Apple.com if you haven’t already. Then click to enlarge the poster above, and print it out for suitable framing. You know you want to.

Confused by so much awesome? The film follows an elaborate heist, enacted by a group of conmen and crooked cops in an effort to shake the wrath of their blackmailers: the Russian mafia.

That Russian mafia. It’s almost as if they can’t be trusted. Do you think there are rational people who wake up one day and say, “Hey, I know what I’ll do! Make an honest, good deal with the Russian mafia!”? Do they deserve our sympathy, really? Ehh, doesn’t really matter. If we’re talking Norman Reedus, he gets our sympathy by default.

Are you excited to watch Reedus wield something other than knives and crossbows for a change? Walk your dead fingers down to comments and let us know.
