Nintendo has finally kicked off 2015 with the first Nintendo Direct stream of the year. In addition to the revelation that the New 3DS XL will be hitting U.S. shelves February 13th of this year, the Japanese gaming giant also announced several release dates for upcoming titles. In case you missed the stream, we rounded up the reveals to keep you informed.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D launches this April. 

After being announced alongside the (new) New 3DS in Japan last year, the long-awaited portable adaptation of the Wii title Xenoblade Chronicles has finally been given a launch date thanks to today’s Nintendo Direct. The title will be making its way exclusively to the New 3DS on April 2, 2015 in Europe and sometime in April 2015 in North America–which is a lot sooner than any of us thought.

The game is being ported by Monster Games who, if you’re unfamiliar, is the US company that brought Donkey Kong Country Returns to the 3DS. Since the game is exclusive to the New 3DS, this unfortunately means those who aren’t willing to spring for the new system but already have a 3DS, 3DS XL, or 2DS will miss out on the fun.

At the moment of writing, this is the only title so far that requires the new handheld. Do you think it’s worth the upgrade?

Party with Mario and the rest of the crew in March. 

Are you almost ready to party? The stream also revealed that Mario Party 10 will make its Wii U debut on March 20, 2015 in both North America and Europe.

It was also announced that a new mode called Amiibo Party would be included in the game alongside the standard Mario Party mode. Tapping your amiibo to the Wii U gamepad enables you to use the figure as a game piece and offers a game board centered around that particular character.

That means you’ll be able to use the Donkey Kong, Wario, Mario, Luigi, Toad, Peach, Bowser, and Rosalina amiibos you may have bought from the Super Smash Bros. collection or will buy from the upcoming Super Mario collection. Nintendo plans on releasing a limited amount of Mario Party bundles including a special Mario Amiibo.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate scores a February 13th release date

Yes! Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for the 3DS has finally been given an official release date. The portable title will be hitting shelves February 13, 2015 in both North America and Europe alongside the New 3DS. To get players amped for the game, Nintendo also revealed that codes for a special demo version of the game will be released to both regions.

It looks like our European brethren are the lucky ones as they’ll be receiving demo codes starting today. Similar to other demo releases, the codes will be sent out into the wild in sets of four. This means you’ll get a code yourself, but you’ll also be able to gift three other codes to your friends. Not only will the demo reach more people, but the new multiplayer mode–which will be a feature of the demo–will be easy to test.

The demo offers access to all of the weapon types that will available in the full game and will fully support the Circle Pad Pro. You’ll also have the option to choose between fighting the Great Jaggi, Gore Magala and Tetsucabra.

Unfortunately, at of the time of writing, the demo release date for North America is unknown at the moment but we will keep you updated as soon as it arrives.

Majora’s Mask makes its way to 3DS February 13, 2015.

It feels like it was just yesterday that Nintendo finally revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask was making its way to the 3DS. The Japanese giant announced today during the Nintendo Direct that the upcoming remaster of one of the most beloved entries in the Zelda franchise would be arriving alongside a limited edition Majora’s Mask version of the New 3DS XL on February 13th. What a perfect Valentine’s Day gift!

While the awesome Majora’s Mask New 3DS faceplate will only be available in Europe–since the U.S. is only getting the New 3DS XL–those who pre-order Code Name S.T.E.A.M will receive a cool silver Majora’s Mask pin.
