New TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Trailer Is Heavy on Villains and Action

“Commander Krang, we’ll have ultimate power.”

Not to mention a whole lot of villains and one giant, floating, and (apparently) morphing Technodrome.

In the just released official international trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, the follow-up to the 2014 reboot of the franchise, Shredder’s proclamation to Krang is a promise that the turtles will really have their hands full this time around, with lots of villains and a whole lot of destruction to deal with.

Besides containing four of the most iconic enemies (Bebop and Rocksteady have been all over these trailers) the turtles have ever battled, this trailer shows that the movie will be full of giant action sequences, including one where all four brothers jump out of a plane… and onto a different plane.

I don’t know if it’s merely the presence of Krang (the best damn Turtles villain), or that the turtles look better (an understatement) than they did in the 2014 film, but this sequel seems like it’ll be a marked improvement over the ’14 flick.

It was recently announced that Krang will be voiced by Everybody Loves Raymond‘s Brad Garrett, instead of Fred Armisen who was originally set to voice the supervillain warlord from Dimension X.

Directed by Dave Green, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows opens next month on June 3, and features Megan Fox reprising her role as April O’Neil, with Stephen Amell taking on the role of hockey mask-wearing vigilante Casey Jones.

What are your expectations for the sequel? What are you most excited about to see in this movie (Krang!)? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
