New STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT Trailer Showcases Palpatine, Boba Fett, Leia, Han Solo in Action

Whether you were a fan of the latest Star Wars: Battlefront trailer or not, you have to admit that most of the trailers have been awe-inspiring. Sony and EA have found a way to channel our inner nerf herder. At today’s Paris Games Week conference, Sony did their usual third-party rundown, which obviously included the aforementioned title. The results: another epic trailer showing off the high-octane action Battlefront has to offer. This new clip has all of our favorites duking it out in various locations. It’s incredibly well shot, and watching Palpatine face off against Luke is always a win. Something, something, something, Dark Side. Peep the trailer above.

Alright, breathe. How awesome is Princess Leia? Vader always looks so terrifying as well–it’s so sad that the ultimate badass will forever be linked to the whiney Anakin of the prequels. But I digress. The game looks gorgeous and the trailer is surprisingly representative of the actual visuals in the game.

I still believe Sony has done a sneaky job of covering up their holiday exclusive deficiency with Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and the Star Wars: Battlefront exclusive console. That rad Star Wars themed PS4 is going to sell like hot cakes. The design of the console isn’t too flashy, but the Dualshock 4 is brilliantly designed. I hope that we eventually get to purchase that controller outside of the bundle, similar to what they did with the 20th Anniversary controller and headset.

What did you think about the beta for this game? Are you going to buy the themed console? Did you enjoy Sony’s Paris Games Week conference? Let us know in the comments below.
