New SEVENTH SON Trailer and Images Arrive

It’s been a rocky road to release day for the upcoming Jeff Bridges starring fantasy/action film, Seventh Son. Originally schedule for release in February of last year, the film was moved to October 2013, then to January 2014 when Legendary parted ways with original distribution partner, Warner Bros., and joined up with Universal. However, in one final date change, Universal opted to move the film from January 2014 to February 2015 and now, at long last, we have a fresh trailer promoting the new date with some very solid-looking fantasy action footage. And bears. Very, very angry looking bears. Check it out:

In addition to this rockin’ new trailer, we also have some fresh images and a new one sheet to go along with it, and they might be more awesome than the trailer:

Based on the book series The Last Apprentice by Joseph Delaney, Seventh Son follows “the sole remaining warrior of a mystical order that travels to find a prophesized hero born with incredible powers, the last Seventh Son.” That sounds like the makings of a solid February romp, and we’ll see anything with Jeff Bridges in it, really. But considering this movie features Jeff Bridges with a sword, we’re doubly excited to check this one out.

The film looks good, sounds like something we want to see and features one of everyone’s all time favorite actors, so we totally know where we’ll be come February 6th, 2015.

What do you think of the new trailer for Seventh Son? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. and so the hate bashing begins… I have not read any of the books so I´m open minded to a good movie and having fun.

  2. Everything I’ve seen about this film and how unfaithful it is to the books disgusts me. I’m a massive fan of the book series, my favourite series of all time, and every detail about this film upsets me. I don’t even think I want to see it because I know for a fact I will be heavily disappointed… Maybe if they stopped linking this piece of trash to the books it may stand as a good film its own right, but they have completely disrespected Joseph and screwed him over :/ said they’d stay true to the books and have done exactly the opposite…

  3. Frank says:

This movie is every bit faithful to the source material as  47 Ronin was… Which is to say not at all..

  4. Shadesiren says:

it’s like someone read them, described them to someone else, who told someone else, who thought it sounded like a cool movie, and wrote a script based on that description, and never read the books.  They are so good, this is… it bears pretty much no resemblance to the books at all, based on the trailers.  It’s so sad.

  5. Cycowolf says:

“Based on the book series The Last Apprentice by Joseph Delaney” Unless you have read the books.

Screw everything about this piece of crap.
