I feel it’s only fair to warn you that the video I’ve put above put at least three earworms into my brain on rotation for more than 6 hours. Pitch Perfect 2 is coming and it’s coming fast! Here’s the newest trailer for the totally upbeat and awesome sounding sequel to everybody’s favorite acapella movie.

It looks like the Barden Bellas are back and better than ever. All the little things in this trailer are what I am hoping will make the sequel as fantastic as the first movie. This trailer sets up the new challenge for the ladies when they’re sent to the world championship of acapella competitions and have to again find that thing that made them totally special in the first place: each other. Who doesn’t love a little sing-a-long of a catchy cup song sans cup and with a montage of touchy-feely moments? By the way, I’m dead serious. I am not making fun. I love a good montage moment, and yes, I have been singing the cups song for about an hour.

As if the dropping of this fun new trailer isn’t enough, the girls from Pitch Perfect teamed up with the NBA to release a Playoffs promo with Kyle Lowry. Here’s that little bit of fun:

Pretty much every time this dream team of girls gets together and synchronizes their vocal cords, I get a little bit happier. Pitch Perfect 2 is directed by Elizabeth Banks and reunites all the big players from the first movie with Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Skylar Astin, John Michael Higgins, Elizabeth Banks, Anna Camp, Hana Mae Lee, Adam DeVine, Ester Dean and Ben Platt back on the big screen. The sequel also adds Hailee Steinfeld and Katey Sagal to the cast as well as a host of other talents. It hits theaters on May 15th in the US.

Disclaimer: I totally watched Pitch Perfect last night and am still kind of riding the finale high.
