New LORD OF THE RINGS Prints Track Gandalf’s Journey Through Middle-earth

Through six feature films, Ian McKellen brilliantly portrayed the wizard known as Gandalf in director Peter Jackson‘s adaptations of J.R.R. Tolkein’s fantasy world. Now, three of his key moments from The Lord of the Rings trilogy have been revisited as a trio of new prints, but you can only buy them for a very limited time.

Bottleneck has officially licensed the new Lord of the Rings triptych by artist Matt Ferguson. The first of the three images comes from The Fellowship of the Ring, as Gandalf made his return to Bag End for Bilbo’s final birthday in the Shire.

For the second image, Ferguson focused on the final stand of Gandalf the Grey in The Two Towers, as he faced the Balrog at Zirakzigil.  This was the battle that cost Gandalf his life, and led to his rebirth.

Finally, Ferguson wrapped up his trilogy with an image of Gandalf the White from Return of the King as he rode outside of the great city of Minas Tirith prior to the attack from Sauron’s minions.

Each print is available for $35 each, or together as a set for $100. However, you’ll only be able buy them from Bootleneck through Sunday, January 15 at 11:59pm. Additionally, three randomly selected orders will receive one of Ferguson’s concept artwork pieces for the three prints.

Bottleneck Gallery is also paying tribute to the late Alexandra Grace New‘s battle with cancer. In her memory, Bottleneck is selling a One Ring enamel pin that will raise money for the UK based charity, the Myfanwy Townsend Melanoma Research Fund.

Each pin is available for $10.99, or with the Lord of the Rings triptych set for $110.
