Well, fair friends across The Realm, this is a post about Game of Thrones. Which means it’s likely going to spoil some aspect of Game of Thrones for you if you a.) haven’t read the books, b.) want to remain ignorant as to the hypothetical dealings of season six. So turn away now if you’re not into that sort of thing. Don’t say we didn’t warn ya!
OK now that we’ve got that overly verbose bit of nonsense out of the way, let’s talk Instagram. One user in particularâan Irish woman named Julsâstumbled upon a castle-construction set that seems to indicate a Thrones production. Why does it seem to be a Thrones thing rather than some other castle-based bit of business? Well, take a look and see for yourself:

If you zoom in on that keystone above the castle entrance, you’ll notice there’s a trout in that stoneâthe sigil of House Tully. Also of note is its locationâdirectly next to a river:

A castle, in Ireland, on a river, with a fish on its outerwalls? C’MON now: it’s gotta be Thrones! And given that book four has a fairly lengthy scenario play out at Riverrunâthe siege of it, a stand-off for control of the riverlands (and its ruling castle) between Brynden Tully and Emmon Freyâit feels safe to assume that Jaime Lannister’s trek may play a part in season six.
And we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the fact that this could give way to a major, major character return that’s both long-awaited and hotly anticipated: Lady MF-ing Stoneheart, y’all:
Do you think we’ll see the siege at Riverrun this season? Let us know your theories in the comments!
