New FANTASTIC BEASTS Funko Pop! Figures Include Tina, Niffler, and More

What better way to honor creature collector Newt Scamander—renowned wizard, famed Magizoologist, and star of the upcoming movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them—than by doing some collecting ourselves? But since we’re just Muggles/No-Majs and catching magical creatures is probably not very safe, we’ll set our sights on the new Funko figures from the upcoming Potterverse movie.

Funko has announced a new line of Pop! figures based on the upcoming Harry Potter prequel, which is an adaptation of the magical creatures catalogue “written” by Newt Scamander (a.k.a. J.K. Rowling, who also wrote the film’s screenplay). There are seven primary figures in the new line.

This marks the second version of Newt (played in the film by Eddie Redmayne) that Funko has released, and the series also includes first time figures for Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston) complete with her hat, the very stylish Queenie Goldstein (Alison Sudol), a safety-conscious Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler), President Seraphina Picquery (Carmen Ejogo), the sharply dressed but sinister looking Percival Graves (Colin Farrell), and an adorable “beast” known as a Niffler.

There are also two Niffler variants. One is a “flocked” Niffler that you can only pick up at Hot Topic, and the other is a Target exclusive Niffler holding a coin purse (you might remember Hagrid used them in his fourth year Care of Magical Creatures class, when the students were tasked with having the long-snouted diggers search for leprechaun gold). You can see the rest of the figures in our gallery below.

In addition to the nine new regular Pop! figures, they also announced two Pop! Pocket Keychains, with both a Newt and a Niffler available.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens this November, but these figures will be available this September.
