New Art Show Inspired by SEINFELD Opens This Weekend in Los Angeles

Get out your finest puffy shirt because yadda yadda yadda we’re going to an art show.

Saturday night, October 17, Gallery 1988 (East) in Los Angeles will open its new Seinfeld-inspired exhibition, aptly named “An Art Show About Nothing.” The group show will feature works of art from various artists, all celebrating and created from arguably the greatest sitcom of all time.

The pieces will include paintings, prints, and sculptures of Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer, as well as works inspired by other characters and famous sayings and moments, like our favorite but very intense chef.

This is the one I already want hanging in my future beach house, to remind me that the sea can be angry, my friend.

For those of you in the Los Angeles area able to make it to the show, Gallery 1988 is found on 7021 Melrose Ave and will run from 7-10. If you can’t make it, don’t worry: the gallery says the rest of the works will be made available online by Sunday afternoon. Plus, we can just pretend we know what it’s like to be there by watching this over and over.

Check out a few more of the works that will be on display in our gallery below, and remember, no high-fiving at an art show unless it’ll get you an insider deal on a great painting.
