Nerdist’s DOCTOR WHO Fan Show Premieres Tonight

Watching Doctor Who is a very profound thing for a lot of people. Everybody has their own tradition and ceremony surrounding how they like to watch a brand new episode. Some like to watch it alone in the dark, some like to be surrounded by friends or family. But once that’s over, what do you do? How about spending it with Nerdist? Tonight, following the east coast airing of BBC America’s Doctor Who, Nerdist will be live streaming the first edition of a brand new fan show, which we’re affectionately calling The Doctor Who Companion.

At 10:15pm ET, join Nerdist’s official YouTube channel for a live-streamed fan show running down everything that happened in the episode, “Face the Raven,” airing at 9:00pm ET. Hosts Michele Morrow and Matt Acevedo will break down the episode’s many twists and turns, talk about theories for the end of Series 9, and I’ll be there too look at the hidden gems you may have missed in a segment called Easter Eggs Benedict. Not on the east coast? Unable to watch until later? Don’t worry! We’ll archive the show for you to watch any old time you’d like!

The best part? You’ll be able to take part! Michele and Matt will be reading your comments, theories, and reactions on the live chat feed and checking your tweets with the hashtag #NerdistWho. We want to know your thoughts! Please join us; it’ll be a very boring show without you.

Our special guest for this first episode is Nerdist Alliance member Lindalee Rose, the 8-year-old Who fan who’s been interviewing luminaries since she could barely walk! So, stick around after the episode and join us on YouTube!
