    You don’t submit a sketch packet to a show. Only way to “break in” for sketch writing is to take classes at one of the theaters (groundlings, ucb, second city, etc). If you have an agent, maybe they can get a sketch packet to the producers, but without the training at one of these places, it’s unlikely you’ll know what they’re looking for in the writing.

    I concur. One question – when they talk about submitting packets to sketch troupes at UCB etc could anyone expand upon what the system is in the US for submitting sketch packets to shows etc. I have very little idea about “breaking in” in sketch writing outside of performance paths.
