The Very Best of DEADPOOL This Week

It’s been one week since the smart alec we know and love as Deadpool hit the big screen in his first solo flick, and the internet has already exploded with reactions and weirdness inspired by their love of the Merc with a Mouth. Last night, James Corden was visited by leading man Ryan Reynolds and pitched him a bunch of terrible sidekick ideas, but the icing on the cake was suggesting a second Deadpool, inconspicuously shaped like James Corden. In addition to some gushing critical reviews and die-hard fans happy with their silver screen adaptation, the Marvel film has also been converting brand new Pool-heads, including some unexpected and extremely high-profile personalities.

Join Jessica Chobot for our round-up of all the best Deadpool-inspired moments from the world wide web, and find out why America’s sweetheart, Betty White, loves the raunchy Wade Wilson, on today’s Nerdist News.

On a serious note, one of the Deadpool comic book’s most frequent artists, Reilly Brown, recently suffered some property damage at the mercy of a house fire, and has to replace all of his newborn baby things and pay for moving expenses as he and his new family relocate to a new home. You can help them out by purchasing something from his art dealer’s site here.

Thanks for watching today’s show! In case you missed it, check out our look at some of the best Easter eggs from Deadpool.
