NERDIST NEWS: THOR THE DARK WORLD’s Jaimie Alexander, Marvel Invades Netflix, & Robocop

We’ve made it to the end of our first week of Nerdist News and so far we’ve seen Chris give Jessica the hosting gig, Jessica terrorize the office with a Titan arm and managed to squeeze in the latest news in between.

What will today’s episode bring? How about our first guest on the show, Thor: The Dark World‘s Jaimie Alexander! Sif stopped by to talk about the film in a one on one interview with Jessica, but before they can get to it Asgard’s douchiest god stops in to ruin the festivities. Not only is Marvel having a big week with Thor, but they also announced new shows coming to Netflix, a new Robocop trailer gives us a better glimpse of the bionic bad-ass and Disney finally lets us know how soon we can revisit a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.

The full interview with Jaimie features discussion on Sif and Thor’s relationship in The Dark World, her love of Wonder Woman (and if we’ll see her sporting a lasso anytime soon) and her work with Children’s Hospital. Be sure to follow Jaimie on Twitter @JaimieAlexander.
