Will THE FLASH and SUPERGIRL Meet Again?

Last night, the long-awaited crossover between The Flash and Supergirl arrived…and we loved it! Seriously though, it was awesome, and you can totally read our recap here! After such a great episode, we’ve been left wondering when these two adorable superheroes might meet again. If The Flash and Arrow can have yearly crossover events, then why can’t Supergirl get in on the fun?

On today’s Nerdist News, our intrepid host Jessica Chobot dives into the DC TV multiverse to shine a spotlight on some particularly intriguing comments from Supergirl executive producer Greg Berlanti, including an “exciting doppelgänger” coming up on The Flash. Could Melissa Benoist’s Girl of Steel already have a counterpart in The CW’s DC Universe? Or is Berlanti hinting at the introduction of another major character from DC’s comic book realm?

Given how well the crossover episode of Supergirl has been received (including a reported 30% increase in viewership), we think that it’s inevitable that more inter-network crossovers between CBS and The CW will happen in the future. But will Kara end up in Star City and fight alongside Oliver Queen on Arrow? Should Kara take a detour and meet up with Vixen in Detroit? Or will the crew of the Waverider from Legends of Tomorrow visit Kara on her Earth? After all, according to Berlanti, the Waverider can literally go anywhere!

Which DC show would you like to see crossover with Supergirl? And which DC villains should challenge the heroes in the next epic event? Let’s discuss in the comment section below!
