There are some tantalizing tidbits and flanksteaks of knowledge about the currently-filming Deadpool movie, including which character Firefly alum Morena Baccarin will be playing, who everyone’s favorite Denverite T.J. Miller has been cast as, and what star Ryan Reynolds said to Shortlist Magazine about whether or not the movie will live up to its weird-ass comic roots.

The current run (Posehn/Duggan/Staples) is so spot on to the core of Wade and the fever dream that is his life.I truly hope they do the character justice. Ultimately, I look forward to the unrated Director’s Cut.

I think it would be awesome if during what would be a HUGE fight scene they cut to some little kids playing it out with action figures just to show how silly the book/character can be.
