Nerdist News BONUS: IRON MAN 3’s Drew Pearce Talks ALL HAIL THE KING

Love it or hate it, chances are that everyone one of you reading this probably saw Iron Man 3 last summer, judging from the fact that it’s the fifth highest grossing movie of all time internationally, at well over a billion dollars. The co-writer of Iron Man 3, Drew Pearce, talks to Nerdist’s Jessica Chobot about his directing the legendary Ben Kingsley (SIR Ben Kingsley to you, peasant) in the Marvel One-Shot short film follow up to the events of Iron Man 3, All Hail The King, which debuts as a bonus feature on the Thor: The Dark World Blu-ray hitting stores February 25th. The short follows actor Trevor Slattery to high security prison, where he deals with the new found fame of having been (uh, SPOILERS, I guess) the notorious terrorist the Mandarin. Or, at least, having pretended to be him.

Drew Pearce talks not only about All Hail The King, but also his script for Marvel Studios that never was (at least, not yet) for an adaptation of Brian K. Vaughn’s Runaways.  He also mentions his Marvel dream project… but you’ll have to watch the video to find out which one that is.
