Nerdist Industries Panels at Comic-Con 2014!

“I spent a month there one night.” Boots may be using this phrase to describe a night in Brooklyn in the film classic Newsies, but you’d wish you could manipulate time to that extent once you see the innumerable ways that we’ve arranged to show you a good time at Comic-Con this year. Team Nerdist is piling in the bus and heading down the 5 for five days of quality nerd community bro-time.

Jessica Chobot will be holding things down at The Stage at Nerdist Laser Tag at PetCo, but she won’t be alone. In case you miss him at the sold-out 10:30PM Nerdist Podcast on Saturday (you can still get tickets to the Evangeline Lilly and Michael Rooker show at 7:30PM), Jessica will be getting an assist with Nerdist News daily at 4:30 from CM Punk. Yes, the grammar gods have smiled upon us and granted us the best copy editor our Comic-Con coverage could hope for.

In addition to the live Nerdist Podcasts with Chris Hardwick, letting you Pew-pew-pewt down your friends at Nerdist’s Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel themed Laser Tag, seeing the first geek-couture fashion show at Comic-Con with Her Universe, giving away a custom Nerdist XBox One, and getting inside the minds of the brainiacs behind Scorpion, we’re also going to have tons of panel programming every day of the convention.

Here’s a complete rundown of where to find us at Comic-Con International with links to the official schedule for those using the Comic-Con app:

Want to get deeper into your fandoms? Want to know about the biology of Game of Thrones’ dragons, the feasibility of Star Trek’s warp-travel or the virology of The Walking Dead? Join Nerdist’s Science editor Kyle Hill, Derek Muller (YouTuber Veritasium and science communicator), Bradley Voytek (neuroscientist and zombie brain specialist), and Bobak Ferdowsi (NASA’s own “Mohawk guy”) to talk about their favorite intersections between science and pop culture and take audience questions!
