Nerdist Comics Panel #53: Batman: Assault on Arkham

The DC Direct movie written by our own Heath Corson (Justice League: War) hits stands this week and it is really good (ask anyone who saw it at SDCC this year). Heath, Adam Beechen (Batman Beyond), and Ben Blacker (Thrilling Adventure Hour) discuss how the project came together, sneaking a Suicide Squad story into the DC Direct U, juggling all of those characters, and more.

Plus: Ben and Heath catch up on their experiences at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con!

  1. Niue says:

Come to Salt Lake Comic Con! Its the 3rd largest con in the US. We want you!

  2. William says:

If you guys are interested in getting video game writers on the panel, I would like to very highly recommend Ken Levine. He is the writer (and creator) of Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite among others and is currently writing the script for the reboot film of Logan’s Run. He has done other podcasts included Nerdist and even hosted his own show about writing for a time. Another choice could be Amy Hennig who wrote for Nathan Drake and many other Naughty Dog projects.
