When How I Met Your Mother stars Jason Segel and Neil Patrick Harris joined their cast members on a recent episode of Inside the Actor’s Studio, they probably weren’t expecting a confrontation. Or, you know, “Confrontation.”

The duo belted out the Les Miserables tune at one of the audience member’s request (with Harris playing Javert and Segel as Jean Valjean). Let this serve as a little reminder that Segel has a tremendous singing voice (and Harris isn’t too bad himself).

The Inside the Actor’s Studio appearance is part of the lead-up to tonight’s How I Met Your Mother series finale.
