Naughty Dog has dropped a brand new Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End story trailer that includes the usual Nathan Drake shenanigans, including our hero being in constant peril. Unfortunately, the whole thing has been mired in controversy this morning after an accusation from Ubisoft.
Woooow Uncharted 4 using one of ACIV artwork in their trailer… I get the "thief" title now! https://t.co/rholpuvw9I lol at 1:36

According to the Assassin’s Creed head of content, Azaïzia Aymar, the piece of art (displayed below) in the original Uncharted 4 trailer is concept art from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Indeed, the original version of the trailer featured art that looks almost identical to a scene from Assassin’s Creed.
Now, Naughty Dog has admitted to lifting the artwork and issued an apology. The updated version of the trailer is the one you see in the featured player above this article.

Let’s not forget that this isn’t the first time Naughty Dog has found itself in this situation. An artist once claimed the developer stole a map that’s plastered on one of the walls in The Last of Us. The team eventually resolved the issue with the artist.
Now, the trailer: the action-packed two-minute clip features scenes that we haven’t seen before, like the treasure-hunter riding a non-aquatic vehicle down a waterfall. Certain tender moments between teenage Nathan and Samuel also hint at the tone of the whole game, and make it seem like we’re going to learn a whole lot more about our favorite adventurer’s past.
Do you guys like the new trailer? Does it get you pumped up to play the game? What do you think about Naughty Dog’s mistake? Let us know in the comments below!
