Prepare for MUSKWATCH: Our New Weekly Science, Tech, and Elon Musk Show

He’s been compared to Tony Stark. He is using his immense wealth to normalize driverless cars and help humanity to eventually colonize Mars. He may or may not be raising an army of venomous bats that he can command to do his bidding. He’s Elon Musk, and we’re mildly obsessed with him.

Okay, maybe “mildly” is putting it lightly. We love Elon Musk so much that we’ve named our brand new science and technology news show Muskwatch in his honor. Born from the bonkers episodes of Nerdist News hosted by Kyle Hill and Dan Casey (hey, that’s me!), Muskwatch distills that manic energy and deep-seated passion for the intersection of science, technology, and culture as it pertains to the future into a bite-sized, highly informative, and deeply silly weekly show.

Each and every week, Because Science host Kyle Hill and I will bring you the latest and greatest on everything from robotics to flying cars to space travel to cloning and beyond. And you’d better believe we’re going to keep you up to date on everything that Elon Musk does until one day he acquiesces to our repeated requests for him to adopt us as his adult sons. (You don’t have to main Bastion in Overwatch anymore, father; I can show you a better way.)

Muskwatch will air on Nerdist.com and YouTube every Tuesday, but you can hack the planet and watch it two full days earlier on Sunday if you’re an Alpha subscriber. Find out how you can get 30 days free (and be 48 hours smarter than your dumb friends) right here.

Most importantly, though, we want to know what YOU want to see from this future-focused Muskstravaganza. We want to talk about the science and tech stories that matter most to you, so let us know the kind of things you’d like to see by tweeting your suggestions with #Muskwatch to @Sci_Phile, @DanCasey, and @Nerdist. Who knows? Your suggestions may just directly lead to a future episode of the show, and could eventually secure you a position as the Grand Vizier of Mars. (Not guaranteed, but we’ll ask our father once he gets home from work.)

See you next week, fellow Musk-a-teers.

Dan Casey is the senior editor of Nerdist and the author of books about Star Wars and the Avengers. Follow him on Twitter (@DanCasey).
