Who knew divorce could be this much fun?
Son Of Stan is rapidly becoming one of the most listened to artists in my morning commute. I’m not entirely sure if it’s because I’m intrigued by the concept of “Divorce Pop” or if I’m in a pop withdrawal to begin with, but these kids know how to party in the most dire conditions, i.e., while signing divorce papers. Lead singer Jordan Richardson and producer Adam Lascus (whose name might sound familiar from working with favorites Yo La Tengo and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah)Â have resurrected a vibe that I thought died in the ’90s, but in a good way, duh.
