In honor of Coachella coming up this weekend, it seemed appropriate to post about one of the bands we’re most excited about seeing… a band that has yet to really be seen in the first place: Galantis.

In my earlier Coachella roundup, I mentioned this Miike Snow and Style of Eye‘s mashup dance-pop duo, Galantis, who seemed to have appeared out of nowhere (or Mars). Their debut, Smile, has steadily made its way up the chain of command towards possible “Song of the Summer” status. Their second single, You, is now on the same path.

For a party track, this song/video combo runs deep. Without ruining it, the video expresses what it’s like to be an outcast, but instead of the shallow, club-rat videos we’re so used to, it tells a story about a very different type of person. High fives for Galantis; Can’t wait to see these guys at Coachella!
