Music Geek Track of the Day: ‘Water Fountain’ by tUnE-yArDs

Merrill Garbus — a/k/a tUnE-yArDs a/k/a seriously, still with the alternating caps? — is back with a  groovy jam today as a preview of her upcoming third LP, Nikki Nack, out May 6.

“Water Fountain” is exactly the type of fare we have come to expect from Garbus at this stage in her career, by which I mean it is impossibly catchy for how quirky and unconventional her approach is. Her DIY finesse of banging on the tops of random surfaces almost makes me think that I have sung this song during roll call at camp when I was the same age as the kids in the “Bizness” music video from 2011. My advice for vibing to this track: Organize a huge game of capture the flag, don some fresh face paint a la Ms. Garbus, and take the biggest speakers you own outside. Woo-Ha, Woo-Ha!

I was very happy to find this net-site.I wished to thanks on your time for this wonderful learn!! I undoubtedly enjoying each little little bit of it and I’ve you bookmarked to check out new stuff you weblog post.

  3. One important issue is that when you find yourself searching for a education loan you may find that you will want a cosigner. There are many cases where this is true because you will find that you do not employ a past credit standing so the financial institution will require that you’ve got someone cosign the credit for you. Good post.

The subsequent time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I imply, I do know it was my choice to learn, but I really thought youd have one thing interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you can repair for those who werent too busy looking for attention.

Good day! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog. Is it hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about creating my own but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Many thanks

One other issue is that if you are in a situation where you do not have a co-signer then you may want to try to make use of all of your financing options. You can find many awards and other scholarships that will give you money to assist with education expenses. Thanks a lot for the post.
