Let’s face it — you’ve had a long day and sometimes you just need to shake all that stress out. Don’t get fooled into going to your mom’s Zumba class. There’s a better way to dance it out, and that comes courtesy of Slam Dunk’d, the new moniker of legendary producer Arthur Baker, who produced masterpieces like Afrika Bambaataa’s “Planet Rock” and worked with the likes of New Order and Bob Dylan. Now, Baker is back and he’s got a fresh take on an old, long-lost classic. Back in 1979, Baker wrote a song called “Can’t Put No Price on Love” and even recording it with the intention of putting it out on an album with Joe Bataan. Unfortunately, his then-label folded and the song was just sitting there, lonely and unplayed.

In 2009, Baker came across his forgotten song and sent it off to MSTRKRFT’s Al-P for remixing purposes. Al-P, in turn, reached out to Chromeo’s Dave 1 to add some of his signature smooth-as-marble vocals and the result is “No Price”, which you can hear below. Now, 35 years after its original recording, we’re finally hearing the song in all of its disco-tinged, dancey glory. Just be warned that it’s like the Pringles of dance party jams: once you start playing it, you might not be able to stop.
