Money is like a butt: it’s great to have, but when something goes wrong, shit hits the fan. Gross? Sorry.
Mercury just reverted from retrograde to normal-grade yesterday, and while I don’t pretend to know anything about astrology/astronomy, the one thing I do know is that when Mercury is going through it’s bi-yearly time of the month, everyone’s lives become the worst. Except for Oprah’s… Oprah’s life is always perfect… well, mostly anyway.
Regardless of how our planets are aligned, I was certain that my life would be exponentially better today than yesterday, but damnit, the only thing that didn’t go wrong was stumbling upon this song by Lowell. The Toronto-based singer/producer has debuted her latest hit, “I Love You Money” and by golly, can we all relate to that or what? Her sound is stripped-down girl rock. Ya dig? Listen below, and pretend like you’re Tony Stark, just rollin’ in those stacks.
Lowell’s debut album, We Loved Her Dearly, will drop September 16 via Arts & Crafts.
