Two of our favorite new artists of 2013–SZA and Chance The Rapper–have joined forces for the latest, extra-dreamy cut from SZA’s upcoming Z release, slated to drop on April 8th via TDE.

Repurposing one of my favorite XXYYXX productions (Ty Dolla $ign also recently used this beat) to give this R&B track the hazy cushion of a flashback, SZA sweetly coos, comparing former romance to childhood games: “Stuck in Nintendo; you’re the controller/Street fighters and such.” Chance’s calm timbre and nimble word play further entrances and makes you want to pull out that treasure trove of Nerf guns (see above picture) and action figures stored in a musty box somewhere in your parents’ basement.
