The MUPPET BABIES (Plus Statler and Waldorf) Are Back in This Exclusive Clip

Pretty soon you won’t have to close your eyes and make believe we still live in a world where the Muppet Babies are going strong. Later this month, Disney Junior will make your dreams come true with their all new CG animated series starring the imaginative tykes. But you don’t even have to wait that long to meet the gang again, because they’re here—along with our two favorites curmudgeons—to introduce themselves with a new song we have exclusively for you here at Nerdist.

Before the new Muppet Babies debuts on March 23, Disney Junior will let the kids introduce themselves to a whole new generation of fans with the short form series “Muppet Babies: Show and Tell,” which will also offer a look at their playroom, which can transform into anything their imaginations can dream up. The shorts will premiere Friday, March 2, on the Disney Channel, Disney Junior YouTube, as well as the DisneyNOW app. We have a sneak peek of one today, which gives us our best look at the newest member of the Muppet Babies crew, Summer Penguin. There’s also an appearance from two old favorites who are stopping by, and as always, trying to stop the fun.

Statler and Waldorf make everything better, even if they think everything is the worst. But these are just the first two surprise guest appearances fans can expect this season, so let your imagination run wild over who else could show up this year.

What could be more fitting for the return of the Muppet Babies?
