Happy Monday, morselers! Let’s get this work week started with a healthy helping of new footage from Disney’s much anticipated Zootopia. Plus, the latest on Finding Dory, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, Liam Neeson‘s next actioner and more!
Zootopia
We’ve got a pretty good idea of what to expect from Zootopia thanks to the trailers and clips Disney’s generously released thus far from its next animated epic. Yet the latest international trailer may be giving just a tad too much away, since it breaks down the entire narrative thread that runs through the film’s first act. Having recently interviewed the film’s directors, Byron Howard and Rich Moore, I kind of doubt they wanted to reveal this many significant gags to the audience up front. But hey, hopefully Zootopia will still pack in enough surprises to catch us all off guard when it opens on March 4th. Finding Dory
In other computer-animated movie news, we have word that Pixar has announced an actor in its voice cast for Finding Dory, due out on June 17th. Masters of Sex star Michael Sheen has just revealed that he’s in the film. Sheen previously voiced the White Rabbit in Disney’s live-action Alice in Wonderland, and will do so again in this year’s sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass. Dory co-stars Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Hayden Rolence, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Ty Burrell, Kaitlin Olson, Ed O’Neill, and Willem Dafoe.
The Commuter
Liam Neeson is reteaming with director Jaume Collet-Serra, who helmed the star’s Non-Stop (pictured above) and The Unknown, for The Commuter. In his next action outing, Neeson plays “a businessman on his daily commute home, who unwittingly gets caught up in a criminal conspiracy. It threatens not only his life but the lives of those around him.” The film starts shooting this summer.

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage
Vin Diesel has, via social media, kindly shared a plethora of pics from his upcoming xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, which hits theaters next year. Directed by D.J. Caruso, the film hits theaters next year and co-stars Samuel L. Jackson and Nina Dobrev. You can check out the pics here.
