Movie Morsels: New CRIMSON PEAK Posters, First Look at X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST — THE ROGUE CUT

Tom Hiddleston beckons us to step forward and enter his creepy Victorian mansion in one of two new posters from Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming Crimson Peak in today’s Movie Morsels. We’ve also got more nail-biting thrills with the first-ever video look at X-Men: Days of Future Past — The Rogue Cut, a new TV spot for Pixels, a new clip from Terminator Genisys, and more!

Tom Hiddleston’s Sir Thomas Sharpe and Jessica Chastain’s Lady Lucille Sharpe, Sir Thomas’ sister, have earned their own character posters for Guillermo del Toro’s period supernatural thriller Crimson Peak, which hits theaters and IMAX on October 16th. Mia Wasikowska co-stars as Sir Thomas’s young bride Edith Cushing, who goes to live with him in his mansion in Northern England, to what is likely her eternal regret. Charlie Hunnam, and Jim Beaver co-star.

X-Men: Days of Future Past — The Rogue Cut

We’ve got our first look at Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past — The Rogue Cut in a new video promo, which offers a second of two of Anna Paquin’s member of the titular mutant team, who will be featured in an previously unseen subplot this time around. The extended edit of last summer’s superhero hit, which will be released on Blu-ray on July 14, contains eighteen minutes of new footage, and co-stars Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Ian McKellen, and Patrick Stewart.

Terminator Genisys

Game of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke (as Sarah Conner) and Jai Courtney (as Kyle Reese) run into a whole heap of trouble from Jason Clarke’s John Conner turned Terminator as they make their way across the Golden Gate Bridge in a school bus in the latest clip from Alan Taylor’s Terminator Genisys. Arnold Schwarzenegger, J.K. Simmons, Byung-Hun Lee and Matt Smith co-star in the film, in theaters on July 1st.

Director Chris Columbus unleashes even more vintage video game menaces in the latest TV spot for Pixels, arriving July 24th. The action-comedy/video-game homage stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Michelle Monaghan, Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage, and Brian Cox, in an epic about former ’80s video game champs whose skills are required to save the world.

Jurassic World

Finally today, Marvel graciously acknowledges Jurassic World for taking the opening box-office weekend from The Avengers in a tweet from the studio’s chief Kevin Feige. Director Colin Trevorrow’s film beat the former champ’s $207.4 million opening in 2012 with a $208.8 million gross this past weekend. Now in theaters, Jurassic World stars everyone’s best friend Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
