Yes, you read that correctly, we’ve got some brand-spankin’-new footage from next year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in today’s Movie Morsels. In addition today, we have a Zoolander 2 motion poster, the latest from Assassin’s Creed, a Revenant featurette, and more. Is there anything today’s Movie Morsels doesn’t have? You! So get to Morselin’, kiddo!
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Who’s ready for some more superbro-rage? There’s a bit of new footage from director Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice tucked inside the film’s new international TV spot, which one of our friends overseas has been kind enough to share. Marvel at the film’s two titular titans tussling! If you can tolerate the German language dubbing…
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens on March 25, 2016.
Assassin’s Creed
Assassin’s Creed has just stepped up its marketing game with a new banner and digital campaign, which includes an Abstergo website and CEO Alan Rikkin’s business card on Twitter…

If you call the number on the card you’ll get a voice message that says…
âHello, youâve reached the voicemail of Alan Rikkin. Iâll be out of the office on business until March 25 with limited availability.â
Since March 25th is the release date of Batman v Superman, it’s a safe bet we’ll see the first footage from the film unspool in theaters showing the superhero slugfest that day. In any case, Assassin’s Creed hits theaters on December 21, 2016.
Zoolander 2
Zoolander 2 (or Zoolander No. 2 if you’re not into the whole brevity thing) has itself a new motion poster, featuring stars Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Penelope Cruz, and Kristen Wiig doing what they do best — actin’ goofy! The long-awaited comedy sequel arrives to the delight of all on February 12, 2016.
The Revenant
Wondering what the themes of the much talked about western The Revenant are? (Beyond, y’know, Leonardo DiCaprio getting, er, taken by a bear.) [Editor’s note: He doesn’t. — Dan] Director Alejandro González Iñárritu and director of photography Emmanuel Lubezki explain all in a new featurette from the January 8th release.
Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur
Anyone hungerin’ for a hunk of Charlie Hunnam? You might have a little longer to wait for the actor’s Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur. Warner Brothers has just revealed that the Guy Ritchie-helmed pic has been moved from its original release date of July 22, 2016 to a new one: February 17, 2017. Hang in there, people. I visited the film’s set last summer and can tell you that what I saw looked pretty impressive.
