Independence Day writer-producer Dean Devlin has shared via Instagram the first photo of Jeff Goldblum on the set of Independence Day 2. The actor returns to his role as world-saving hacker genius David Levinson after almost twenty years, joined by fellow returning stars Bill Pullman, Vivica A. Fox, Judd Hirsch, and Brent Spiner. Liam Hemsworth, Jessie Usher, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Travis Tope, Joey King, Maika Monroe, and Sela Ward round out the cast of the film, directed once more by Roland Emmerich. Terminator Genisys

J.K. Simmons’ Detective O’Brien is featured prominently in the latest Terminator Genisys TV spot. Opening on July 1st, the film finds Simmons’ character partnering with Emilia Clarke’s Sarah Connor and Jai Courtney’s Kyle Reese as they try to save the world from Skynet. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dayo Okeniyi, Matthew Smith, Courtney B. Vance, and Byung-Hun Lee co-star, while Alan Taylor directs this fifth Terminator film.

Anyone who harbored doubts as to whether or not Vincent D’Onofrio could portray an effective villain were completely silenced by the actor’s turn as Wilson Fisk in Marvel’s Netflix series Daredevil. So I’m happy to hear D’Onofrio will be playing another baddie in the film adaption of ’70s and ’80s TV hit cop series CHiPS, written and directed by Dax Shepard. who will co-star with Michael Pena. D’Onofrio will play the leader of an exotic car theft ring and a former cop. The actor will also feature in Jurassic World and the Magnificent Seven remake.
