Shutup and take our money, Pixar. Today’s Movie Morsels include the first-ever footage from Pixar’s latest animated short, Sanjay’s Super Team (coming to theaters with The Good Dinosaur), updates on Thor: Ragnarok and Alien: Paradise Lost, a trailer for The Walking Dead star Lauren Cohan’s horror film The Boy, and more!
Sanjay’s Super Team
As much as I’m looking forward to Pixar’s latest feature The Good Dinosaur, I’m even more excited about the animated short that will play before it in theaters: Sanjay’s Super Team. The story of a young boy who uses his imagination to reconcile his love of superheroes with his heritage (from writer-director Sanjay Patel), it appears to be just the thing to tide us craving Pixar superheroics until The Incredibles 2 arrives in 2019. Here’s the film’s first clip.
Sanjay’s Super Team and The Good Dinosaur open on November 25.

Thor: Ragnarok
While we’re talking super teams… It’s cool that the Hulk may appear in Thor: Ragnarok, although I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t more stoked by a new rumor that Marvel’s Valkyrie could also be in the film. The sword-wielding warrior woman was a core member of the company’s Defenders in the ’70s, where she fought alongside the Hulk and Doctor Strange.
Thor: Ragnarok — directed by Taika Waititi and starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, and Jaimie Alexander — lands on November 3, 2017.
Alien: Paradise Lost
And speaking of awesome action heroines, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation star Rebecca Ferguson may be joining Ridley Scott’s Alien: Paradise Lost in a “key role.” The actress is also in talks to join Paradise Lost‘s Michael Fassbender in the detective thriller The Snowman for director Tomas Alfredson. Alien: Paradise Lost is due out on May 30, 2017.
The Boy
The Walking Dead star Lauren Cohan sure has a thing for horror, which is made abundantly clear in the trailer for The Boy. Directed by William Brent Bell (The Devil Inside), it hits theaters on January 22, 2016.
Love the Coopers
Finally, it’s the ensemble holiday comedy Love the Coopers, with an all-star cast led by John Goodman, Ed Helms, and Alan Arkin! Will it be ho ho hilarious? Check out the following TV spot and let us know what you think.
Co-starring Diane Keaton, Jake Lacy, Anthony Mackie, Amanda Seyfried, June Squibb, Marisa Tomei, and Olivia Wilde–and directed by Jessie Nelson–Love the Coopers arrives November 13th.
