Yesterday we learned that T.J. Miller’s Deadpool character will be the Merc with a Mouth’s best buddy Weasel, and today we have confirmation straight from the film’s set in Vancouver that the casting of another staple comic character has been right under our noses. Morena Baccarin tweeted that her character will, in fact, be “Vanessa” — almost certainly Vanessa Geraldine Carlysle, the shapeshifter Copycat. This makes the second blue-skinned mutant morpher to enter Fox’s Marvel Universe after the X-Men films’ Mystique.
