Movie Morsels: Daniel Craig Might Make Another Bond Movie After All

Put on your tux and load your Walther PPK, America. Because the latest James Bond epic SPECTRE arrives in theater today. But should you fear this is Daniel Craig‘s final go as 007, we have some reassuring news in today’s Movie Morsels. Plus, the trailers for London Has Fallen and Secret in Their Eyes, news on why may play the late singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse in a biopic, and more!

James Bond

Oh, James… After telling the world that he would rather slash his own wrists than do another James Bond movie, Daniel Craig has decided there are in fact worse things in life than being one of the most desired men in all of fiction. The actor, in the midst of doing publicity for SPECTRE, appeared on Today to backpedal, er, clarify his statements:

If you’re two hundred yards from the end of the marathon and someone comes running up to you and says, ‘Are you going to run another marathon?’, there’s two words you use. And not on a morning show. That’s really what that was about.

Now that he’s started recovering from the SPECTRE shoot, will Craig get behind the wheel of an Aston Martin once more? (He admits to wrecking “three or four” of them during the production)…

The simple answer is I don’t want to think about it… Maybe I’ll make another one, I don’t know.

Here’s the video with Craig’s interview:

London Has Fallen

You’d think London would be just fine with James Bond to protect it, right? But noooo. Instead it falls on the shoulders of Gerard Butler to save the city in London Has Fallen, co-starring Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman, and directed by Babak Najafi. The sequel to the hit Olympus Has Fallen arrives on March 4, 2016. Here’s the trailer:

Amy Winehouse

Noomi Rapace

The original Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and the once and future Elizabeth Shaw is in talks to star as Amy Winehouse in a biopic about the late singer-songwriter’s life. Tentatively titled Amy Winehouse, the film would be directed by Kirsten Sheridan. Another project about the acclaimed star is also being developed, by her father, Mitch Winehouse.

Nicole Kidman, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Julia Roberts star in the thriller Secret in Their Eyes, about a team of FBI agents investigating the murder of one of their daughters. Directed by Billy Ray, it’s based on Eduardo Sacheri’s novel El secreto de sus ojos, which was first adapted into the 2009 Best Foreign Language Film Oscar winner The Secret in Their Eyes. This new version lands on November 20th. We have the film’s latest trailer below:

Android

Olga Kurylenko

Since we’ve got James Bond on the brain today, it’s worth mentioning that former Bond Girl Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace) has signed on to star in a new science-fiction thriller, Android. Directed by Niall Johnson, shooting begins in Singapore in February 2016. Here’s the official description of this intriguing-sounding thriller:

On a lonely spaceship orbiting Neptune, Mason Anders fulfils his dream to rebuild his dead wife, Beth (Kurylenko), and their son, Spencer, as androids. But when the androids begin demanding a life of their own, Mason’s life is suddenly in danger. A battle of wits and strength ensues. Will Mason prevail against the superior intellect and abilities of the androids, and can he make the ultimate sacrifice and destroy his family to save humanity?
