As we approach nearly the tenth year in the age of The Real Housewife, a franchise that has spanned a nation, broken down barriers marriages, outlived some of its own cast members, and introduced wholly realized concepts into the cultural vernacular (Dinner Party from Hell, Ongoing Argument about Slight that Happened Offscreen, Drink Throwing), we finally get the Real Housewives parody for which we’ve all been waiting: Hulu’s Real Hotwives of Orlando is the next logical step after the classic 30 Rock episode “Queen of Jordan,” and the occasional Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater dramatic reading of scenes from the Real Housewives franchise.
The Real Hotwives of Orlando stars Casey Wilson, Angela Kinsey, Kristen Schaal, Tymberlee Hill, Danielle Schneider, Andrea Savage, and Paul Scheer. Look for it on Hulu July 15.
