Millennium Falcon Drone Clears Away the Snows of Hoth

“You’ve never heard of the Millennium Falcon?”

“Should I have?”

“It’s the drone that cleared the stairs in less than twelve parsecs. I’ve outrun Imperial snowplows. Not the local pickups with a little shovel on the front mind you, I’m talking about the big Corellian plows now.”

When you’re a Star Wars fan and you find that you suddenly live on Hoth, you don’t grab a shovel to clear the snow away; just grab your custom-built Millennium Falcon drone and let the hunk of junk do it instead. At least that’s what Brampton, Ontario’s Ian Fisher did.

He wrote, “Built the Millennium Falcon drone from scratch and decided I could use it to clear the snow from my walkway. I tried previously to use The Force but this method is a lot easier.”

As awesome as this drone is – and make no mistake it is absolutely amazing – this actually seems much more difficult than just grabbing a broom and wiping the snow away. Obviously this is more fun though, even if it is much less efficient. Considering millions of Americans on the East Coast are being buried under snow, maybe “fun” will become more important than “efficient” after a few days of being trapped in the house. This could be some good inspiration. Maybe try knocking down some icicles with your homemade lightsabers.

*DISCLAIMER* Do not try to make your own lightsabers.

But make sure if you clear away your snow like this you try to avoid any Imperial entanglements.

What are some other fun Star Wars-inspired methods of doing your chores around the house? Tell us in the comments below.
