The Ultimate Spider-Man is Ultimate no more! After Secret Wars, the apparent destruction of the Ultimate Universe doesnât mean the end of Miles Morales, the teenage Spider-Man created by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli. Bendis and Pichelli are reuniting for a new Spider-Man series starring Miles that takes place within the all-new Marvel Universe!
Miles is firmly in place as New Yorkâs Spider-Man, since Peter Parkerâs Spider-Man is now an international superhero of intrigue and a world-famous inventor. Milesâ problems are a bit more down to Earth as he struggles with school while trying to make time for family and his recent promotion to the All-New, All-Different Avengers.
Marvel has released a brief preview of Spider-Man # 1, which finds Miles facing a new foe as his familiar supporting cast also makes their Marvel Universe debuts. All three double page splash images can be seen in our gallery below, along with the covers by Pichelli, Michael Cho, Skottie Young, Mark Bagley, and a hip-hop variant by Adi Granov.
