Today’s Most Intentionally Funny Video Of The Day is the one and only Norm MacDonald giving a poignant and to-the-point commencement speech. Video of the speech is at Funny or Die, but it’s not clear at which college or university the speech is taking place. However, trust that Norm’s words are great and funny enough to make MIFVOTD two weeks in a row.
Here’s the previous MIFV pick, in case you missed it.
Per usual, I’m taking submissions for the MIFV like so many featured in the past. I love finding new, hilarious videos from people hundreds and thousands of miles away, so please do send your videos so long as they follow the rules below.Â
-E-mail embeddable video link to thecomedybureau@gmail.com with subject line “MIFV Submissionâ€Â
-Videos must have been posted online (i.e. have a time stamp that says so) within exactly two weeks from when you submit (i.e. videos uploaded more than 14 days from the day when you submit will not be up for consideration)Â
-Don’t add any cover letters or explanations; please just send the link
Thanks for your helpful article. Other thing is that mesothelioma is generally a result of the inhalation of material from mesothelioma, which is a dangerous material. It’s commonly observed among individuals in the engineering industry who have long experience of asbestos. It’s also caused by moving into asbestos insulated buildings for long periods of time, Inherited genes plays a huge role, and some consumers are more vulnerable to the risk as compared with others.
An attention-grabbing dialogue is worth comment. I believe that you need to write more on this subject, it may not be a taboo topic but generally individuals are not sufficient to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
Heya i’m for the first time here. I came across this board and I find It really useful & it helped me out a lot. I hope to give something back and help others like you helped me.
I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was wondering what all is needed to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web smart so I’m not 100% sure. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

I have witnessed that good real estate agents all around you are getting set to FSBO Advertising. They are knowing that it’s more than just placing a poster in the front yard. It’s really about building associations with these sellers who at some point will become buyers. So, if you give your time and energy to aiding these sellers go it alone : the “Law involving Reciprocity” kicks in. Thanks for your blog post.
Thanks a bunch for sharing this with all of us you actually know what you are talking about! Bookmarked. Please also visit my web site =). We could have a link exchange agreement between us!
I’ve had funnier busted rubbers. Besides: How is it not clear it’s a pure skit and not a real commencement speech? Jesus.
If you step back and consider, for a moment, what Mr. McDonald is sharing here is what I’m going to call “The Allegory of the Keys.” His words belie a greater universal truth. The “keys” are our fantasies and dreams, our wants and desires, our hopes. Those desires can be small (“the keys to a shed”) or great (“the keys to a car”) or simply pure flights of fancy (“the keys to a ski mobile”). When we “jangle” these “keys,” what we’re doing is entertaining the notion that we might, at some point, make use of them; that is, we might enact these dreams and make them a reality. What the esteemed Mr. McDonald is encouraging is that, when we determine to explore our hearts’ deepest desires, we must make sure that we do so with a solid foundation, so that they might have a better chance of succeeding. The dangers inherent in “fiddl[ing] with [our] keys over a grating” are the self-same dangers when we pursue our passions without first ensuring that we do so on a solid base, that we have taken the time to verify the reliability in the course we have chosen, that we have not thrown caution to the wind and decided to “mess with [our] keys near a sewer or overlooking a lake.” Anyone who has pursued a dream knows all too well that, as the loquacious Mr. McDonald points out, the “grating scenario” is, quite astutely noted, “not rare at all.” What many will brush off as humor or, as seen by the status bar on the video, deem as “Funny,” is, in truth, a cold hard look at the way the world works and a stark warning about the dangers that lie ahead on the road to fulfilling our greatest wishes and aspirations. Take heed, class of 2014, nay, the world at large. Take heed these masterful words of wisdom from one of the finest minds of any generation.
Wait, is this just a skit? DAMMIT!
It’s not clear what college it is because it’s a skit. It’s not an actual commencement speech. Also, it’s not funny, cause it’s Norm McDonald.
