MIDDLE-EARTH: SHADOW OF MORDOR is Getting a Precious Game of the Year Edition

If you were a fan of Monolith’s award-winning Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor like we were, or have been looking to get your precious hands on the game, you’ll be happy to hear that the title will be getting a Game of the Year Edition. According to a recent press release, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has revealed that we will be seeing Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition in North America on May 5, 2015.

The expanded version of the game–which is set to retail for $49.99 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC once it hits shelves–will come bundled with all of the previously released DLC, including both “The Lord of the Hunt” and the “Bright Lord” story expansions. It will also include the following content:

Skins: The Dark Ranger, Captain of the Watch, Lord of the Hunt, The Bright Lord, Power of Shadow and Lithariel Skins

Runes: Hidden Blade, Deadly Archer, Flame of Anor, Rising Storm, Orc Slayer, Defiant to the End, Elven Grace, Ascendant, One with Nature

Missions: Guardians of the Flaming Eye, The Berserks and The Skull Crushers Warband Modes

Whew! That’s a lot of Middle-earth goodness. In addition to the content listed above, you’ll also have access to the game’s photo mode. You know, in case you want to capture the sweet, sweet revenge you just got on the Uruk who just bested you.

While there is no mention whether or not the special release will hit our last generation consoles, I’d say it isn’t likely seeing as the bundle is releasing next week.
