Man about town/yelling aficionado Billy Eichner certainly knows how to get a message across loud and clear. First Lady Michelle Obama and he recently teamed up at a Washington D.C. grocery store with Sesame Street’s Big Bird and Billy on the Street vet Elena for a very good cause. The goal of this gathering was to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Let’s Move, promote FLOTUS’ Eat Brighter campaign and, of course, play games. Let’s Move was launched by the First Lady to help solve the problem of childhood obesity so that our nation’s kids can grow up healthy in order to pursue their dreams. Ms. Obama’s Eat Brighter program works with the Sesame Workshop and the Produce Marketing Association to increase children’s consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables. Her partnership with Billy on the Street marks First Lady Obama’s second Funny or Die video. This video is also notable for being Big Bird’s Funny or Die debut.

Surrounded by a bevy of fresh foods, our favorite pop culture expert pulls out all the comical stops to assist with the First Lady’s efforts. Billy introduces a new game to the Billy on the Street repertoire called “Ariana Grande or eating a carrot”, but the fun doesn’t end there. Michelle and Billy play a little hide and seek, Big Bird and the First Lady share a slow dance, Michelle utters the words “I am Groot”, and Billy receives the supermarket cart ride of lifetime.
