METAL GEAR SOLID 5: GROUND ZEROES Coming March 18, 2014

Kojima Productions will be putting their exclamation mark on this spring, as Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes has been set for a March 18, 2014 release for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PS4. To clear all confusion, be reminded that this is the prologue to the “full” Metal Gear Solid 5 game, Phantom Pain. I guess having something to hold us over is better than nothing, though Ground Zeroes is said to be pretty sizable as it is.

There will also be an exclusive mission for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of Ground Zeroes. The “Jamais Vu” mission goes totally “back to the future” by again putting us in the cybernetic shoes of our old pal Raiden. The mission will involve him taking down a platoon of body snatching “intelligent beings” occupying a U.S. naval facility in Cuba. Consider this the answer to the previously unveiled PS4 and PS3 exclusive “Deja Vu” mission. Check out Raiden getting his Marty McFly on in the trailer below.
