Are you a fan of nerdcore music that’s planning on being on or around San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 25th? Are you a fan of, say, MC Frontalot, MC Lars, Schaffer the Dark Lord, and/or Dr. Awkward? If so, you’re in luck because those very folks are getting together on that very day to bring the 4th Annual Comic-Con Nerd-a-Thon to Southern California.

The event, hosted by Tiny Nightmare Productions, is set to bring in the noise (and undoubtedly some funk of a sort) when it takes over the former Ruby Room space — now called The Merrow — in the Hillcrest section of San Diego.

According to a release, L.A.’s #1 Nerdy Burlesque Troupe — which is a thing! — Devil’s Playground, will be performing as well. Though when they’re in San Diego they’ll be going by the Star Girls Storm Trooper and Emperor’s Guard. You can purchase tickets here.

Can’t make it out to the Thon but need your MC Frontalot fix? No fear! He’ll be at the Dumbrella booth (#1337, yes really) from 1:30PM to 3PM on both Saturday and Sunday.

There will also be an opening performance by Chamber Band, so there’s much to look forward to, you guys!
