You, and only you, are responsible for deciding if you want Mayochup in your city.
Original post:
Do you find yourself exhausted from constantly having to open up multiple condiment bottles so you can combine them? Are you losing your mind having to wash all those knives? …No? You’re not? Yeah, now that we think about it, all of that sounds absurd. Mixing together multiple condiments is the easiest thing in the world. Which is why we can’t figure out why Heinz is now offering a ketchup/mayonnaise hybrid known as Mayochup.
Benefits of the doubt be damned, there’s really nothing else to it beyond the combination of Heinz’s mayonnaise and their famous ketchup to create this “new” foodstuff, ostensibly targeted at the laziest people in the world. However, Heinz is hoping they’re not too lazy to vote in the company’s Twitter survey in favor of Mayochup’s release in the United States.
Want #mayochup in stores? 500,000 votes for âyesâ and weâll release it to you saucy Americans.

Apparently the new head of Heinz’s product development department is Cosmo Kramer.
According to Delish, Mayochup is already available to be purchased in the Middle East, but clearly Heinz is looking to greatly expand its customer base.
Still, we can’t figure out why we need it. For one thing, there are far fewer uses for Mayochup than there are for the much more versatile ketchup or mayonnaise. If you decide you want to combine them you can always do it on your own, and you’ll have one less bottle taking up real estate in your fridge. Mayochup can’t replace either of its two source condiments, meaning you’d need all three.
On top of that, why would anyone want an inferior version of the best condiment (don’t @ me), Thousand Island dressing? Thousand Island is made up of ketchup and mayo, but with lots of other great ingredients too! All in all, we don’t know why we need Mayochup… but that doesn’t mean we aren’t desperate to try it, so please vote yes.
What do you make of this? Will you try it? Do you combine ketchup and mayo already? Take a bite out of our comments section with your thoughts.
