More than 15 years has passed since Matt Damon and Ben Affleck penned the Academy Award winning screenplay to Good Will Hunting. Even now, there are plenty of folks who still quote “How do you like them apples?” as if they just saw Damon slap Skylar’s phone number on a diner window.
Of course, Damon and Affleck have had little time since to write another screenplay with their illustrious careers as lead actors… until now. Matt and Ben now have a comedy pilot ordered at CBS called More Time With Family, with comedian Tom Papa and Alyson Hannigan attached to star.
It has a typical enough family sitcom-based premise, but with Damon and Affleck writing and executive producing as well as having Louie EPÂ Dave Becky on board, this could be something really great, hopefully chock full of more quotable moments to last us the next 15 years or so.

Actually I think their first screenplay even though it was a drama, had some pretty damn funny moments. And let’s not forget they got an Oscar for writing the damn thing.
Here’s a better question: why don’t you wait until you actually SEE the bloody thing before you start casting aspersions on it?
Two writers that aren’t known for comedy or being funny are making a comedy? This won’t be good. Why not get actual comedy writers to write a comedy pilot.
