Marvel’s New Hero Can Be Anyone in MOSAIC #1

Marvel’s New Hero Can Be Anyone in MOSAIC #1

Next month, Marvel is launching the hero known as Mosaic into his own monthly series, which may make him the first Marvel hero who doesn’t even have a body of his own to take the lead in a book.

As envisioned by writer Geoffrey Thorne and artist Khary Randolph, Mosaic was once Morris Sackett, one of the most rich and famous basketball players in the Marvel Universe. Unfortunately for Morris, he was also an Inhuman, which made him vulnerable to the Terrigen Mists. Now, Morris has the power to literally become anyone by jumping from body to body. Once inside somebody, he controls their movements and memories, which potentially makes him one of the most dangerous men alive. But given the circumstances of his transformation, we’re not sure if he can still even be called “a man.” Or “alive.”

The downside of Morris’ new powers is the destruction of his body during his Terrigenesis experience. He’s practically a ghost now, and he needs the bodies of others to survive. There’s a pretty steep learning curve when it comes to abilities like this, and we’ll soon know if Mosaic has what it takes to move past his personal tragedy and find his new destiny.
