MARVEL’S INHUMANS Offers a Second Trailer

Marvel’s Inhumans has finally emerged from terrigenesis, with more info revealed at Marvel‘s Comic-Con panel.

The new trailer for the upcoming Inhumans series gives us a much better look at a number of characters including the follically ferocious queen of the Moon-based Marvel folks, Medusa. Filling in a little more detail than the first trailer, the latest viseo shows a level of unrest among some of the inhabitants of the hidden city of Attilan. Iwan Rheon’s Maximus leads s contingent dead-set on revealing themselves to Earth and taking over.

Overall, it looks great and has a certain gravitas to it that we’ve rarely seen on the TV side of the MCU. Though that may be due to the fact that Marvel put a little extra effort into the first two episodes that will debut in IMAX theaters. Our only gripe (other than it’s not a show focused on Lockjaw) is with Medusa’s hair effects and the slightly awkward way the pattern on Crystal’s shows up. But honestly, that’s probably more of an issue with the way comic books translate to live action than it is about the show’s production. Plus–and this is our bad–we really have no prior knowledge of how hair is supposed to look when it’s moving on its own.
