Does MARVEL’s New FANTASTIC FOUR Comic Mean They’re Joining the MCU?

Marvel is bringing back the Fantastic Four in an all new comic. Could that be the first step to having them join the MCU in Phase Four? We discussed the possibility on today’s Nerdist News Talks Back, along with the bloody trailer for Westworld‘s second season, and what Mark Hamill really thinks of The Last Jedi.

Amy Vorpahl was back today for another go in the big chair, and she was joined by editors Amy Ratcliffe and Kyle Anderson, as well as senior producer Jesse Gill. They started with the latest trailer from HBO for Westworld‘s upcoming season. Yes, it has violent delights. The series is known for its twists, but what predictions do we have for the second season?

Marvel also announced the Fantastic Four will return to comic book shelves in all new monthly series.  They teased this as big news yesterday, but could it mean the team is headed towards the MCU and Marvel’s Phase Four plans?

Finally, Mark Hamill recently had some comments that seem to disparage Star Wars and The Last Jedi, saying Luke got shortchanged in the movie. Is he legitimately salty or is he trolling everyone?

Don’t forget Nerdist News Talks Back airs on our YouTube and Alpha channels live every Monday through Thursday at 1 p.m. PT, and on Fridays we end the week with our hour-long recap of the world of pop culture on Nerdist News What the Fridays at 1 p.m. PT, exclusively at Alpha. It’s always fantastic when you don’t four-get to tune in with us. And yes we know that joke was as bad as the Fantastic Four movies.
